Panasonic’s TOUGHBOOK 55 Mk2 and Mk3 has arrived and continues to improve upon the best semi-rugged traditional laptop ever made. Offering the latest Intel® 13th Gen CPU with up to 14 processors, the new TOUGHBOOK 55 Mk3 is beginning to blur the lines between rugged durability and performance. An optional 2nd USB-C port is a welcome addition, and current users will be pleased to hear that backward compatibility with docking stations remains.
The TOUGHBOOK 55 continues to offer Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics with both RAM slots filled and super-fast Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX211. The innovative modular design remains a game-changer, and most TOUGHBOOK 55 Mk1 and Mk2 xPAKs will work on the new Mk3 with only a few exceptions. Epic battery life remains, and so does everything else that has made the TOUGHBOOK 55 the most successful semi-rugged laptop in history. Color-selectable backlit keyboards, optional 4G LTE that is Band 14 ready, MIL-STD-810H and IP53 certified, plus a quick-release M.2 SSD.
